The Mansion House for the Benguet President in Baguio City
Greetings☺!
This time I will tell you about our trip to visit various places in Benguet Province and Baguio City, Philippines. The two places are abundantly green with panoramic mountains nestled in the northern part of the Philippines. And, there are parks situated a few kilometres away from our receiving school. As we have this tour, we departed by bus from BSU. We depart with our supervisor, Ma'am Jingle and our buddies. We are happy to be able to visit various places in Benguet and in Baguio. And now let's start my first trip to the Botanical Garden.
As the name implies, the Botanical Garden, is a park filled with plants, especially trees. This park is located in Baguio City. The garden is beautifully arranged, full of greenery, and the air is very cool. This park is very suitable to unwind and relax for everyone. The particular park which I have mentioned here, is quite a big one. One can not just sit and have rest there, but you can roam around with the perfect calm atmosphere.
In this park there are also several monuments, statues and cool buildings, one of them is a small building with Chinese nuances. After searching, it turns out that this small building is a sign of the Filipino-Chinese friendship garden. Very cool isn't it😀.
From Botanical Garden, we visited The Mansion. For you to know, the Mansion House is one of the official palace of the President of the Benguet. The mansion is located in the summer capital of the country which is Baguio City.
The Mansion consists of elegantly designed Spanish Colonial Revival main building and a guest house. The elaborate main gate, made of ornate ironwork, was earlier reported as a replica of one of the main gates at Buckingham Palace in London, but it is false. Many tourists visit this place. We also don't want to miss the moment to capture a picture in front of the main door of The Mansion.
Our trip at The Mansion was finished, then we will next visit the Philippine Military Academy. A place where the members of the Philippine Military learn and live.
This place is very beautiful and arranged starting from the main gate to the entire contents. This place is also decorated with beautiful gardens around it. Not to miss, I also captured number of photos, one of which in this area was directly in the background of the mountains.
We continued to the next trip at the Bencab Museum. Bencab Museum is also located in the Municipality of Tuba, Benguet Province. Here, a lot of artwork is displayed, both in the form of three-dimensional and two-dimensional art. And one of the drawing was artistically drawn on a carpet material.
There are also many three-dimensional objects made of wood. One that I found cool is a wooden chair for rich people. This is the appearance of the wooden chair. Very artful.
And for the last place, we visited the Strawberry Farm. The place is very close to BSU so we just need to walk to reach the farm.
In this place, we saw a very large strawberry plantation. This is my first experience to see a strawberry plant in the real world. The strawberry plants look still green, they don't look reddish in color. Maybe this isn't the time for the strawberry season I thought.
The places we visited are beautiful isn’t it. Hope someday you can also visit one of them because visiting a garden or a park is quite refreshing and educative😃.
