Teaching Methods
The method often used
by teachers here in teaching is the lecture method, discussion, question and
answer, experimentation, and giving assignment.
The method they use is of course
combined with the concrete media that is using such as pictures, blackboards,
and others. In my observation, for high class teachers, they are more likely serious in teaching compared to low
class. In low class, many teachers use games while teaching their lessons.

Learning Materials and Innovation
Furthermore, the
teachers use traditional materials, pictures, pictures, books (based on K-12
curriculum), blackboards, and others as their learning materials. But in low
grades like grades 1 and 2, there is a TV installed which is used to display
learning videos for children. And with regards to learning innovation, here the
teachers carry out inquiry-based learning processes and refer to the 5 stages
of scientific thinking namely observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and
communicating.

Sources of Learning and Technology
BSU-Elementary Laboratory
School has two types of learning sources namely those that are high technology
and low technology. High technology itself is in the form of computers, TV and Videos. The school also has an LCD projector as a tool to display video shows from a laptop.
Furthermore, those that are low technology are in the form of blackboard,
papers, pictures, books (based on K-12 curriculum), and libraries. But
basically, most teachers use learning resources that are low technology.

Authentic Assessment
About the authentic
assessment used by this school, low grade teachers such as class 1, 2 and 3 are
more likely to assess the process and results every day. Whereas for the high
class 4, 5 and 6, the teachers tend to do an assessment every Thursday (the end
of the learning week).

And related to the
percentage of assessment used by this school (evaluation/grading system) , I
got it directly from the handbook related to this school. Here's the picture.
